Máté Takács is a 2021 MA Documentary Film Director graduate of the University of Theatre and Film Art of Hungary. He single-handedly made his first short documentary short in 2019, Mystique Cloud, which was selected for the program of the Visegrad Film Forum. At the beginning of 2020, he shot the short film “KazincBARKcika” as part of his DocNomads course. He worked on the film with two foreign documentary directors.
Máté wants to dedicate his art to helping everyday people who have found themselves in not-so-everyday circumstances via the tool of filmmaking, while also helping their surroundings to find a way to connect to them.
