Guevara Namer is a Kurdish-Syrian photographer and documentary filmmaker. She studied photography and Dramatic Critics & Studies in Damascus. Her film »Morning Fears, Night Chants« (2012) was premiered at the International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam and was broadcasted by Alarabiya and ARTE. She worked as a production manager for Syrian documentaries and now works as a creative producer. She is co-founder of the DOX BOX e.V. association for the support of Arab documentary filmmakers.
