Cordelia Dvorák, excelled as a violist before diving into literature, philosophy, and film- and theater studies in Munich and Paris, and photography in Berlin. Dvorák is an award-winning filmmaker, theatre-director, and stage-designer; in Mexico City, where she lived for more than 11 years, she has founded her Theater-Cia Miranda , showcasing acclaimed plays globally and Paloma films, her media production company.
Her teaching spans institutions like UDK Berlin, Instituto de Bellas Artes, and Montclair State University. Dvorák serves on film festival juries and wroites as columnist and guest author in the FAZ and DIE ZEIT. After living in Paris, Milan, and Mexico City, she now resides in Berlin.
