Annika Mayer is a filmmaker based in Berlin. She studied film editing at the Film University Konrad Wolf and holds a PhD in social anthropology. In 2019, she co-founded Majmun Films together with Jakob Krese. She produced and edited numerous award-winning documentaries and short films and recently released her debut as a director. Currently, she is producing the feature documentaries CARAVANERAS, MAOMI, and THE GODS MUST BE MISTAKEN.
