Andrei-Nicolae Teodorescu was born in 1987 in Ploiesti, Romania. He finished his masters degree in film directing in 2016 at the National University of Theatre and Film I.L. Caragiale, Bucharest. His short films and documentaries have won multiple awards and have been screened in festivals worldwide (Cannes, Beijing, Stockholm, Istanbul, Boston etc.) City Tour, his first documentary won the The Romanian Filmmakers Association prize on the 17th edition of CineMAiubit film festival and in 2013. At the same festival Black Squad won the Grand Prize. His film work has been acknowledged with four GOPO awards nominations (the Romanian Oscars).
