Kristian has produced four of Estonia’s box office hits, and is the founder and owner of the production company Taska Film. Kristian is especially drawn to films dealing with history and the period of the first Republic of Estonia. Together with Elmo Nüganen, he has produced the feature films Names in Marble, about the beginning of the first Republic of Estonia and the War of Independence, and 1944 that depicts the start of the Second World War through the eyes of Estonian soldiers after the occupation and annexation of Estonia. O-2 is the missing link of the same chain of events that Kristian has wanted to commit to film for many years.
