Born in 1971 in a town of Chervonograd in Lviv region. In 1997 graduated from Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Art.
His feature film debut “Car Washer” (2010) was among film in competition in Karlovy Vary IFF.
Author, director and co-producer of the project “Mudaky” (“Fuckers.Arabesques”) and “Ukraine, goodbye!”, almanacs of
short films, participator of 60 Berlinale, Silver leopard of Locarno IFF 2012, Clermont Ferrand 2013 and nominee for
European academy award.
In 2013 finished his film “The Green Jacket”, which was in competition program of San Sebastian IFF, Warsaw IFF and
Tbilisi IFF.
Now is working on documentary web-series “Babylon’13” dedicated to social and cultural revolution in Ukraine in 2013-
2015.
