2268, Before
The film takes us on a journey through the last days of the pub Georgihof in Austria’s countryside. An inn started after the second world war by my grandmother, Marianne, and passed on for three generations. Now in the hands of her grandson, the difficulties they meet in understanding eachother finally has led him to stop the business. For Marianne a world falls apart and the remaining empty rooms become the center stage where emotions of loss and memories play out.
