Since 2009, with the support of the International Fund for Innovative Technologies, Georgia has hosted the “Golden Eye” festival of film and TV operators.
More than 300 local and foreign guests attend the event every year. There is high involvement and interest from countries such as Great Britain, Spain, Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Sweden, Bulgaria, Iran, Belgium, Estonia, Australia, France, and others.
The main goal of the INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MOVIE AND TV CAMERAPERSON is to motivate, promote and support the professional development of camera operators and people in the TV-movie field.
The Festival has more than 500 contestants from all over the world every year. As a result, Golden Eye Festival sparks interest in amateur and professional operators.
The Festival hosts various educational events: Master-classes from special guests, open screenings of nominated works, and informative presentations from the world’s leading equipment manufacturing companies. During these years, “Golden Eye” took a prominent place on the calendar of world festivals.
