Fama Films was established in 1996 for the production of documentary and feature films, and also provides screenwriting and production services in Poland and other countries.
Before the company was established, between 1989-1995 the main producer Ewa Misiewicz worked in France, where she produced television programmes for Polish and French television. In 1994/1995, while in Paris, she among other participated in the creation of the Canal Plus Polska television channel.
The company’s main aim is to produce films dealing with serious social issues. Fama films also produces television reports. The company mainly concentrates on producing original documentary films.
