East Silver Market is the first documentary market which supports producers and distributors from Central and Eastern Europe. Films that are selected for East Silver are included in the East Silver Market and have arranged one-on-one meetings with decision-makers. The 20th edition of the East Silver Market will take place at the East Doc Platform from March 22-28, 2024.
Open to: We are looking for short and feature-length documentary films produced in Central and Eastern Europe (see list of eligible countries). Films can be completed after July 2023 or rough cut.
We are interested in creative films that tackle contemporary topics and challenge genre and media boundaries. We welcome films that offer an intense and engaging experience as well as novel perspectives of topical issues, ways of storytelling and the world itself. Only films that have not been previously submitted to the East Silver are eligible.
The deadline for submission is November 10, 2023.
