What is currently shaping Czech documentary filmmaking, and which projects will soon reach audiences? Five upcoming Czech feature-length documentaries will be introduced on March 23 at 5:30 PM by their producer–director teams at Cinema 35 (French Institute in Prague) as part of East Doc Platform 2026.
Each year, we choose five remarkable Czech documentaries with strong international potential and give their creators the opportunity to present them to an audience of film professionals and the general public, including festival programmers, sales agents, distributors, and industry representatives. Through this platform, we support outstanding Czech projects in gaining international visibility, securing funding, and building new partnerships.
The presentation is organized in cooperation with the Audiovisual Producers’ Association (APA), Czech Audiovisual Fund and Ji.hlava IDFF, and will be moderated by Hana Kulhánková. Admission is free of charge.
