Cabin Pressure

Heni is a set decorator from a small village in Hungary, currently living in Barcelona. She wanted a traditional, big family, but by her mid-thirties, even though she is successful, she is single and lonely. She realizes that having a child is more important for her than having a romantic partner and wants to start a family through alternative ways. She meets Andrey, a middle-aged gay man from Russia who is similarly eager to become a dad, and they decide to become co-parents. They are about to face physical, cultural and emotional challenges, but their determination never fades. The film presents an intimate portrait of the new co parents and their unusual family model, and offers a uniquely close look into modern parental roles.
