A documentary journey into the mysterious world of urban subcultures. The documentary TV series charts the 16 significant urban subcultures with the anthropological emphasis on their visual expression. Each part is devoted to one urban tribe - graffiti, trash metal, gothics, hackers, hip hop, hooligans, bodybuilders, bikers, cosplay, straight edge, tattoo, car-tuning, skinheads, punks, hipsters and neohippies. Tribes TV series looks into the world of people who create their own original and tribal way of life. They decided to meet and share it with each other in a broader way which is often deliberately isolated from majority. The series reveals the broader context of their motivations and looking at the symbolic level overlap in the lives of all of us. (16x26’)
