Synopsis
'SonoLog - sound diaries' follows the Slovenian sonoric artist Hanna Preuss on her abstract and vibrant journey across the real world - from Kyoto to Ljubljana - and into the fictional landscapes of sonoric theater. SonoLog is a film speaking of two theatres, two practices coded in different histories, cultures and languages at home on the opposite ends of the globe. It is a film that wishes to be a part of this meeting, a film-meeting that is interested in the uniqueness of the moment and the atmosphere rather than dramatic narration - just like Noh theatre. A film-meeting interested in the introspective dynamic of emotion and thought rather than the external dynamic of events - just like the Sonorous theatre.
