Synopsis
A contemplative film that reveals the transience of human existence in contrast to the permanence of the oak tree, which becomes the central character. The camera casts its gaze on the trunk, branches and leaves of an old oak tree in detail, listening to all the sounds of the landscape that surrounds it. In the background, human voices can be heard telling their personal stories in many languages, as well as the historical events to which the tree has been a silent witness all along.
