Synopsis
Women read and reflect on letters sent to Nők Lapja, Hungary’s longest-running women’s magazine, during the country’s communist era (1950–1989). Stepping into the imagined roles of the letter writers, the participants revisit personal stories about motherhood, relationships, and work—interpreting them through the lens of their own lives. Through this intergenerational dialogue, the film explores how women’s lives have changed since and what this reveals about contemporary urban society.
