Synopsis
The past and the present of the Kuril Islands. Unstable both in political and tectonic terms, the area between Kamchatka and Japan has been separated from human activities for many years, thus providing unlimited possibilities for its natural development. This development, however, can take various directions. The goal of the documentary is to contribute to the common Japanese-Russian preservation of the territory.
