Synopsis
This documentary movie paints a detailed portrait of the most important Hungarian writer of the second half of the 20th century, who was born exactly 90 years ago. His colleagues, followers, friends, witnesses of his private life are talking about Miklós Mészöly's personality and works. The statements of the most outstanding representatives of the contemporary Hungarian literature are sometimes confessional, sometimes contradictory, but always extremely honest. Mészöly was a boundless child, a "guy wearing T-shirt, being like your brother", a "beautiful and austere man". The structure of the movie takes on the central metaphor of Mészöly's texts: the investigation and accuracy. But this movie aims for the investigation of Mészöly himself, and the spectator is the one who puts the fragments together.
