Synopsis
A row of beehives, an old beekeeper, curious grandchildren, and the life cycle of bees from spring to winter. What starts out as a documentary observation becomes gradually more distorted by the animation and irritated music of Krzysztof Penderecki, which overlay the comforting image of a maturing summer with the incomprehensible language of signals indicating the direction of frenetic swarming.
