DOC.DREAM – Association for the Support of Documentary Cinema

DOC.DREAM – Association for the Support of Documentary Cinema organises the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, most notably including the Industry Programme for film professionals. Its other cultural activities help promote Czech documentary cinema at home and abroad and they also greatly appeal to general public. The festival’s year-round activities encompass the operation of the Center for Documentary Film (CDF) – an institution offering services along four lines of interest (education, book library, video library, research). It also publishes Dok.revue – a bi-monthly and an on-line portal reflecting on current affairs and significant topics from the area of documentary filmmaking.
