The fernsehbüro was initially founded by four independent directors. Over the years it has matured into one of Germany’s leading production companies producing documentaries for the major German broadcasters. Its films have been honoured at numerous international competitions.Fernsehbüro is a shareholder at the production companies sounding images GmbH, specialised in documentaries about classical music, and Heidefilm GmbH, Schnittlauch Postproduktion GmbH, and the camera-equipment rental Weitwinkel GbR and Seeblick GbR.
