Graduated from the Film School in Zlín, where he was honored as Student of the Year in 2006. The pivotal movie for him was the puppet animation, The Tokio Brothers, on which he worked as both the producer and the editor. The film was featured at the 2006 Japan Media Arts Festival and was awarded at the 2007 Tokyo International Anime Fair. Since then, Petr has worked as an editor and director of numerous commercials and documentaries. The range of his experience comes from editing TV shows, music videos and short documentaries for an exhibition about Czech director František Vláčil. In 2007, along with Petr Haštík, he founded the film studio Vivatscreen Productions dedicated to multimedia, production and post-production projects. He is the co-director and executive producer of The Resolution (2008).
