Monika Höferová was born on December 2nd 1979 in the Czech Republic. In the year 1992 has been awarded the first prize in the Oscar Junior competitionin in the category of “the topic for the best film” (It was the main category as the best film). She graduated at Catholic Theology Faculty at the Charles University of Prague in 2003. She finished studies at Film School in Pisek in 2009. She worked for Czech Olympic Commettee at Vancouver Winter Olympic Games 2010. Monika works for Czech TV (national TV) on news from Europeans and Worlds Figure Skating Championships from the year 2010 and she works as cameraman, editor, production manager and redactor of news for non comercial TV Noe from 2010 too. Monika founded non government organisation: Friends of New Renato Community Society http://pratele.newrenato.org/ in the year 2012. She finished her first documentary film Bemba: Waiting for Godot in the year 2013. The film had world premiere at FF in Rio de Janeiro in July 2013. She works on new documentary film with the name The Figure Skater. This documentary film will be about Czech figure skater Tomas Verner and is based on collecting pictures during the years (2003-2014).Born 2.12.1979, Czech Republic
