András Földes (1971) is a journalist and video reporter with 23 years of experience. Former foreign correspondent of Hungary’s leading online news site Index.hu, he focuses on humanitarian issues, migration and the war in Ukraine. He lectures on journalism and conflict reporting. His work has received major awards, including the Pulitzer Memorial Prize. In 2020 he co-founded Telex.hu; today he works for HVG.hu, one of Hungary’s last independent news sites.
