Manuscripts

In the year 1817 so called the Zelenohorsky and Kralovedvorsky manuscripts were discovered. First research claimed those literary relics as the oldest preserved literature written in Czech and they became best sellers. They influenced fundamentally the Czech culture and formation of the Czech nation. Just couple of year after the dicovery the linguist Dobrovský formulated dubiety about their authenticity. It started a dispute which lasts for more than 190 years and which has not been resolved yet.

Through the innovative form of a web documentary we would like to bring this outstanding dispute to the nowadays general public, mainly to the younger generation. The audience sets off to a journey in the footsteps of the manuscripts after 200 years from their discovery.
