Inside

Isn’t it strange that we know so few personal stories about something millions of people share? Inside is a short film offering an insight into the lives of women who have experienced abortion. We transform fragments of their testimonies into a poem that conveys their thoughts, emotions, or fears. Flowers stand in the centre of the film, as a symbol of both women and reproductive organs. Combined with archival footage and abstract visuals, we reveal the women’s inner world, while the soundscape represents the outside world and the societal pressures they have to face.
