Synopse
Kela is a 33 year old woman born with a physical disability (she was born without an arm). This does not prevent her from being a good mother. It also doesn't prevent her from being a teacher too. She had to deal with self judgment at first, and than with her fears from others judgment. In every culture we find a lot of proverbs about hands, suggesting different aspects of their use or meaning. Hands have their own soul. Kela's story is incorporated with the narratives of a cardiovascular surgeon, a pottery maker, a luthier, a violinist and a cellist. All the characters are chosen very carefully to give different aspects of use, gesture, psychology, and perception of hands.
