Eva Kübar (1981) has studied semiotics and journalism in University of Tartu and film directing in Baltic Film and Media School (BFM). Her graduation work, short film "Three" ("Kolm") has gained several international prizes and travelled in lot of festivals. After finishing film school as a director Eva was living in France and India and travelled to different countries for two years for gathering the inspiration. She has also been doing photography, video art and paintings.
In addition to her own documentary Eva is right now working as a casting director and 1st assistant director. "Experts of love" is her first full length documentary film granted by Estonian Film Institute and being selected to documentary development forums “Valetta Film Lab” and “Ice and Fire Docs”.
