Adam je slovenský dokumentarista a bohém, všude chodí pozdě a má druhé dítě s dobře vychovanou Rebeccou z bohaté milánské čtvrti. Žijí spolu střídavě mezi Marseille, Milanem, Prahou a Martinem. I když občas lítá nádobí, hodí se k sobě. Snad že jednomu v životě přebývá, co druhému schází. Děti rostou a je potřeba se konečně někde usadit. Shodnout se. Najednou jde o život. O praktické rozdíly mezi západem a východem, o sociální systém, o školství. Láska vždycky zvítězí, ale někdy cestou přijde o rozum. A Adam to točí, všechno.

If you stuff your dirty underwear into a Persil canister, sprinkle it with a handful of washing powder and give it a bit of a shake, you get similar results to using a washing machine. With a little bit of skill, you can use a streetlamp to charge your mobile phone. And a blue IKEA bag is all you need to make some money every now and then: just start your walk around the district in the morning and make sure to stuff it with piles of paper before getting to the collection centre...That is just some of the knowledge that the narrator of FM has gained over many years of intensive contact with people referred to as homeless by the majority society. What’s much more important is what has happened in his head – and it is into this vigorous mental transformation which makes words such as law, order, and system lose their meaning, that the narrator tries to invite the audience of the full-length documentary. The narrator ,who is also the author of the film, brings the audience to FM, a legendary place today that used to be situated a short way from the former Žižkov freight station. Hidden from the eyes of the public, it became a home for homeless people even before the tracks got overgrown by grass. Over the years, dozens of people moved in and out. Right from the beginning, the audience sees the author as someone who has one foot outside the system, just like people from FM. From the narrator’s voice-over we learn that it is mainly his experience with graffiti that enables him to read the code of the city differently than others. The author presents the audience with tangles of singed cables, stuffed animals stuck in tree branches, or a railway track cut by a torch, thus creating a strong visual experience. However, the author doesn’t find his experience with graffiti and balancing on the edge of the law to be enough. To be able to truly understand life at FM, he steps out of the comfort zone of an established artist and moves to the street for a few weeks.

Documentary feature based on 8 mm films found in an Institute for teenage girls classified as mentally handicapped in Klentnice, Czechia. While nuns took care for the young inmates, one of them had a camera. Film unfolds the story of the gaze itself as these marginalized women made their existence visible through filming. Those who were to remain unseen are now looking back.

My family believes there´s a curse casted on us by our mean ancestor. I don't know if the curse is real, but I'm sure there´s a trauma, transmitted in our family for generations - during the Second World War, my great-grandfather was a partisan the whole his family, including small children was shot by Gestapo, there was a lot of violence around my family, but also inside the family. Sometimes I wonder if being Roma is a curse or a blessing. I´m wondering if some magic can help to heal it. That´s why I want to find a real Roma witch who can help to break this curse, because I want to save my three-years old daughter who is supposed to be the fifth and the last victim of it.
Magical rituals and fortune – telling have fascinated me since I was a little girl, thanks to my aunt Marcela, who is a fortune teller. I realise, Marcela sinks into deep depression and I wonder if she is affected by curse too, that´s why we embark on the way together, encouraged by two friends, Anastasia and Michaela, who seek for help themselves, we try to immerse in a fairy tale world, the traditional way of passing on knowledge among Roma people. In a playful, self-ironic way, we hope to find a recipe to help us.
In encounters with the old, traditional Romani witch Elena, the eclectic Vanda with an university degree, and the healer Marta, a former workaholic in retirement, they discover step by step new perspectives on our various problems: Anastasia, Russian in Czech exile, struggles with fear, guilt and loneliness due to the war in Ukraine; Michaela, Slovakian dance teacher, seeks to make contact with her boyfriend who committed suicide four years ago; and I and Marcela want to escape the trauma of repeated experiences of violence in their family history.
If I will be able to break the curse is still open. However, the premise is probably that people must first discover the magic within themselves so that they can be helped.
