IDF at FIPADOC 2021

FIPADOC film programme was postponed until French cinemas re-open. The Industry Days take place online January 18-22. This year's Focus is aimed at Visegrad countries and the Institute of Documentary Film is one of the partners.

Visegrad Focus includes  East Silver Caravan's titles Ticket to the Moon by Veronika Janatková and The Good Death by Tomáš Krupa, as well as The Whale from Lorino by Maciej Cuske (Ex Oriente Film 2012) and A Woman Captured by Bernadett Tuza-Ritter (KineDok edition 2019). 

FIPADOC Impact Competition includes A New Shift by Jindřich Andrš. The film was part of Ex Oriente Film 2018 workshop and has won our Silver Eye Award 2020 (and the festival distribution by East Silver Caravan) among other awards at Ji.hlava IDFF and DOK Leipzig. European Stories Competition includes Ex Oriente Film's & East Silver Caravan's Wolves at the Borders by Martin Páv (Czech Republic). Other Visegrad titles include Tomasz Wolski’s An Ordinary Country (listen to our True Story podcast with the director) and Ladislav Kaboš’ The Band

International Pitches (History and Society) will offer two current Ex Oriente Film projects: Blix by Greta Stocklassa and Kix - The Story of a Street Kid by Balint Revesz & David Mikulán. Other CEE projects include Candidates of Death by Maciej Cuske, Musica O Muerte: Destined to Freedom by Hana Jakrlová, Velvet Generation by Ivana Hucíková and We Have to Survive by Tomáš Krupa.
