Let's celebrate this year´s International Roma Day with an IDF Industry Session about diversity of documentary films that are directed and produced by Roma filmmakers. Join us on Thursday, April 8, at 6 pm (CET).
How do their films reflect everyday lives of Roma? How is it with overall representation of Roma in the mainstream media, on television or in films by other filmmakers? Do we still see mostly films full of stereotypes and prejudices or are there already stories that counter it? What opportunities do young aspiring Roma filmmakers have to make intriguing films?
These will be some of the topics discussed by:

⚬ Katalin Bársony, documentary filmmaker and executive director of the Romedia Foundation (Hungary)
