Creative feature-length documentary projects and docuseries from the region of Central and Eastern Europe in development and early production, challenging genres, format and media boundaries are welcome to apply for free to the Ex Oriente Film workshop 2021. The extended deadline is April 30.

During three week-long sessions held over nine months, director-producer teams gain assistance and advice from more than 25 experienced filmmakers and experts in the development of ideas, production, and promotion strategies for their documentary projects. Workshop lead tutors are Iikka Vehkalahti, Mikael Opstrup, Ivana Pauerová Miloševičová and Filip Remunda.
