The Institute of Documentary Film Special Mention and invitation to the East Doc Platform goes to Wojciech Gostomczyk's project Leon, presented as part of Docs to Go at the 61st Krakow Film Festival.
The statement reads: "The Institute of Documentary Film would like to invite one project to East Doc Platform for individual meetings. This project is a unique portrait of an artist, who is testing the limits of social norms through his radical artistic expression. But the real struggle takes place behind the scenes, in his personal life where the artist is caught between art and his family. We would like to give our award to project Leon by Wojciech Gostomczyk and produced by Anna Stylińska."
