At this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, East Doc Coordinator Nora Särak presented the East Silver Caravan Award to Cordon, directed by Anton Mezulić. The award, granted by the Institute of Documentary Film, provides one year of festival distribution support valued at €3,500. Congratulations!
„The Institute of Documentary Film's East Silver Caravan Award goes to a project that demonstrates both artistic vision and great sensitivity in exploring a deeply complex theme. It is a moving coming-of-age story, and also a father-and-son story, about a young man’s search for his own path, showing how history continues to shape personal struggles. The winner of the East Silver Caravan Award is Cordon,“ explained the jury.
As part of the award, Cordon will be submitted to international film festivals, with IDF assisting in shaping its festival strategy—boosting the film’s visibility and momentum on the global documentary stage.
