On Thursday, October 15, a pre-recorded international discussion (in English) will premiere at 7 PM (GMT+2) on KineDok International’s Facebook page and our YouTube channel (@InstituteOfDocumentaryFilm7825). Martin Trabalík is a Czech documentary filmmaker whose work focuses primarily on social and humanitarian issues. Prior to that, she was the Head of Advocacy at Amnesty International Czech Republic, where she led work on sexual violence, women’s rights and arms-related issues. Together with the Czech NGO Konsent, she started a campaign to introduce a consent-based definition of rape into the Czech Criminal Code, which succeeded in 2024. They then launched a new campaign to improve access to abortion care in the Czech Republic.
