East Silver Caravan at festivals

East Silver Caravan titles – My Unknown Soldier (dir. Anna Kryvenko), Home Games (dir. Alisa Kovalenko), How Big is the Galaxy? (dir. Ksenia Elyan), My Father Is My Mother's Brother (dir. Vadym Ilkov) and King Skate (dir. Šimon Šafránek) – have been successfully screened at various international film festivals recently.

My Father Is My Mother's Brother got the Golden Duke award for the best feature film at Odesa International Film Festival and Vadym Ilkov got the award as the Best Director. At Pärnu International Documentary Film Festival the film got "Special mention in the category Family Life in the 21st Century". Pärnu also awarded How Big Is the Galaxy? as the "Best film on survival of indigenous people".

The programme of the first edition of Iceland Documentary Film Festival included King Skate, Home Games and How Big Is the Galaxy? Another familiar title, Bruce Lee & the Outlaw (dir. Joost Vandebrug), which was part of East Silver and Silver Eye 2018 selection, was awarded at the festival.

Director Anna Kryvenko and producers Michal Kráčmer and Veronika Kührová got Special Mention at the 17th edition of Andrej Stankovič Awards for My Unknown Soldier and also received Special Mention at CRONOGRAF IDFF in Moldova. The film will be screened in August in the Documentary Competition at BEYOND BORDERS Documentary Film Festival in Castellorizo, Greece.
