Last year, the pilot edition of a unique alternative distribution project KineDok, screening creative documentaries and bringing the audience and filmmakers together at non-traditional venues, was successfuly launched and organized by the Institute of Documentary Film and its international partners. In all five participating countries: Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Romania and Croatia, the project received a great feedback from both public and media. In Romania alone, more than 200 screenings were organized in 14 cities in the second half of 2015.  Within Czech Republic, KineDok was introduced for example at Karlovy Vary IFF, Jihlava IDFF or at an international conference Forum 2000. In 2016 KineDok is planning to present 15 new creative documentaries and bring its concept of site-specific screenings and discussions also to the audiences in Poland and Norway.
