FIPADOC Territory Focus: Submit your films and projects until October 15!

2. 10. 2020

Author: FIPADOC

FIPADOC will highlight in its Territory selection 8 to 10 outstanding recent documentaries from the Visegrad region (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) and shall welcome films of the region in its competitions (INTERNATIONAL, IMPACT & MUSIC) and in its selections like EUROPEAN STORIES or IN FAMILY. The deadline is October 15!

THE INDUSTRY DAYS

The Industry Days will host delegations from the four countries. It will present 8 new projects during the International Coproduction Forum and organise a “Producers meet producers” session between Visegrad-Group countries and French producers. It will also provide knowledge about how to coproduce with these countries, case studies, keynotes and master classes. Our aim is to ignite collaborations and create long-lasting ties within the European documentary industry.

FIPADOC will scout projects from the region and award them with an invitation to the Pitching Forum at different events. A first project, Easy Rider behind the iron curtain directed by Andrzej Miękus and produced by Olga Bieniek of Polish company FILMICON was selected in June, during Krakow Film Festival Industry. Another project will be selected during the next session of the Ex Oriente Workshop.
