Synopsis
If one removes one frame from each take and then strings them together, Christian Petzold`s Die innere Sicherheit is 22 seconds and 17 frames long. Individual faces, gazes, and gestures remain with the viewer. The protagonists thus gain a phantom-like presence. The two films are tied together by the ocean. It is the place of refuge where the protagonists hope to find peace and stability.
