Synopsis
Shortly before Christmas 2024, documentary filmmaker
Ivars Zviedris experiences a profound personal loss: the
death of his youngest daughter, Anna Roze. Without
any intention of making a film, he invites his long-time
documentary partner Haralds to document her final
Christmas at the church - an act of grief, not art. As
condolences and advice pour in from people near and
far, Ivars is confronted not only with compassion but
also with the opportunism of public attention. These
encounters - helpful and hurtful alike - become a
constant reminder of the irreversible. Faced with this
reality, Ivars sees only two options: run from the pain or
express it. He chooses to document it - an attempt not
