Prologue

Having been a child when the war in Croatia burst out, I am searching for answers how it is possible at all that a war starts. How it is possible that people start shooting at each others? Besides killing and suffering, during the war a parallel process of suspicious privatization of public goods went by almost unnoticed. In the search for answers to my questions I started analyzing the role of media in all of the mentioned processes.
