Directing: Reza Bird

Synopsis

A filmmaker in exile, Reza supports the Iranian revolution from thousands of miles away in this intimate personal story. This is the journey of a new generation of immigrants who use media and technology to bridge the gap between the Middle East and the rest of the world. The film explores the challenges and opportunities that come with using social media as a platform for activism, both for immigrants and also in a country where censorship and persecution are rampant. Reza’s story is not only about personal growth but also about the power of storytelling and the role of technology and social media in shaping the new world.
