Synopsis
During a late summer holiday, Natalia, a filmmaker in her 20’s and subject in her own film, examines her long time friendship with Andrzej, a painter in his 60's. Despite their difference in age, surprising parallels surface as they share their personal experiences while exploring the region's pastoral lanscapes. Venturing further into the recesses of their memories, their idyllic surroundings take on a darker quality; mirroring their emotional states as the topic of their ongoing conversation shifts to the death and loss of their parents. The playful nature of their summer vacation is threatended as they wrestle with their individual traumas. Is it possible to reconcile with death?
