Synopsis
Yevgeny Borzov's documentary "Magnetism of Memory" is dedicated to the world famous producer Andrey Tarkovsky and particularly to his unknown visit to the Russian city of Ivanovo in 1976. Unique pictures, recently disclosed articles and archival materials, autographs and documents, signed by the director during his stay in this city are widely used in the film. Those events evolve in the background of Tarkovsky's reflections on cinema, quoted from his "Diaries" and "Sculpting in Time".
