Hundreds of young Czechs and Slovaks fought in Indochina in the ranks of the French Foreign Legion, others as soldiers of US Army in Vietnam War. At the same time, it was the most massive combat deployment of Czechoslovaks since the end of World War II. In the jungle and forests they fought for survival. Their stories were forgotten for many years; The French and the Americans lost the war in Indochina, although the communism in Czechoslovakia also didn't won.
