Synopsis
“Luxus” was one of the most eccentric artistic groups in Poland at the end of the communist era. Its contesting character was the product of rebellion against omnipresent greyness. Also today, its members express their individuality rooted in the spirit of punk rock. In Agnieszka Mazanek’s film, former students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław recall their artistic and social scandals from the past and present the activity of Luxus at the backdrop of the social and economic transformation. Their critical approach to the world is also applied to the paradoxes of the contemporary times.
