Synopsis
‘Days of Madness’ is participatory-observational documentary that leads to the hidden and most obscure world of psychic different that society lightly rejects and transforms them into patients. Mladen and Maja in the mature phase of their life found themselves trapped between demons of the past and the loads of medicines their GP’s persistently offer instead of talking. With subtle observation, we follow their loneliness caught in a vicious circle of rejection and guilt, but also attempts to find their corner in the society that has rejected them. Mladen and Maja told their final NO to their doctors and took care of themselves, finally ready to share their thorny odyssey with others. Through the filigree-caught moments of the two lives, the question arises - who is actually crazy here?
