Synopsis
Deciding to escape the city the couple lands a job as lighthouse keepers on one of the uninhabited islands of North Kurils. This place turned out to be the opposite of the idyllic picture they imagined. Tundra, volcanoes, strong winds, storms. Fog and freezing temperature. Living conditions were very difficult. But it was the place that made them feel happy.
