Synopsis
Dávid András Szabó's documentary film tries to understand the relationship between his parents and through this, his own relationship with them. In the course of his conversation with his mother, a story of a marriage and a family are revealed, which held the father back from his artistic fulfilment throughout his life. But the lofty father figure that emerges in the mother's self-deprecating narrative disintegrates before us as we see the man's fallible, more ordinary side through the objectivity of an outsider. The story is thus more about the ever-changing and eternal inequality of the love between two people.
